HOW I LEARN

There are all sorts of different ways people use to keep themselves organized for school and routines to keep them on schedule. For me, I have an agenda that i am able to access when i am assigned something and i have my phone to take pictures or take notes on. The better option is of course the agenda to help me actually remember by me writing in it, but the more faster way is taking a picture of it then boom, i have it set or typing something really fast and again, its done.I always have my routine in which i do my homework when i get home, whether its with my friends or without. We usually always try and get all our homework done before 5:00 PM so it gives us a good hour and a half to get it finished. Now if someone forgets what we have to do, I usually always have something written to remind them and we get to it.

EVERY ONE IS , DIFFERENT

What i had learned through out my high school years so far is, school is not for everybody. Everybody is interested in something, but not everybody is interested in the same thing. I feel like i know what i personally want, and what i don't want, or at least i think i do. I don't feel motivated to do some of my math work, but when it comes to my science, or history, i do my work because im interested in what goes on. I like the feeling of doing my work, and actually enjoying the time doing that. What i dont like, however, is when i have to complete some work for math because well, i don't enjoy math. Young Goodman Brown

These are my answers to the "Young Goodman Brown" questions. 1.  What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story?        I think his purpose in writing this story was to explain to us that we all have different mind sets. Many of us have a different way of seeing the world, and also have different ways of expressing ourselves to the world. 2. Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith.  After reading the story, do you agree?  Does Faith's name fit her personality?  Does Brown have true faith in her?    Yes, i agree and feel like Faith's name fits her personality. The writer did a good job in setting this character up with the story in how Brown had to leave his Faith behind. Brave New World Essay

     In Brave New World, a character who conforms outwardly but is questioned inwardly would have to be John. John is an alpha who is supposed to be this top dog, in this higher class group, though he was made with a little bit of alcohol in his blood surrogate. Bernard is also different from the alphas because he would rather be alone in nature, and rejects taking soma. In the following passage i will explain how Bernard from Brave New World is closely related to a real human, and how he is different.      Bernard Marx was created an alpha, but had a little alcohol mixed with his blood surrogate. This is the reason why Bernard is pretty much the outcast of the story.
