GATSBY NOTES 1

This book was made in 1925. This was in the "Roaring Twenties" age. The reason for this name is because there were a lot of parties and the people had hope for a good future.

Nick is the name of the narrator. He is talking to us and this was something that was rare back then. He is our tour guide and fills us in with what had happened back then. He wants to feel like he is with us right now and not back then. He is a good listener and lived in Long Island.

epigraph: the quote that the author uses that will set the tone for the book

"Gatsby turned out alright in the end"
